Jasper van Berkel
Co-founder / Co-CEO / CXO
Jasper has a background in risk management at KPMG. After he completed his Management, Economics & Law study at Hogeschool Utrecht he got interested in entrepreneurship and started multiple companies in the last two decades. Meanwhile he took on a study in Physiotherapy where he noticed his particular interest in physiology. He has broad general interest, and specific zest for progressive technology. Blockchain-technology and private investments have prevailed in 2021. While focus has been on biotech/health-tech since 2022, when Jasper co-developed an organoid specific bioreactor as COO of Orgonex.
Erik Hexspoor
Co-founder / Co-CEO / CFO
Erik started his carreer in the audit department of KPMG. He became a Dutch CPA (Registeraccountant) in 2006. He gathered a broad finance experience (corporate finance, transactions services and accounting) within KPMG and started his own department from scratch. Erik set up two departments within KPMG and started his own company SDM Finance to support clients to increase their business. He supported clients with turnarounds and post-merger integrations. Erik will be the CFO of Global Premium Nutrition and make sure there will be a financially healthy situation supporting the growth of the company.
Jop Berkhout
CMO / CCO
Jop is the founder of Qaraqter, a marketing company dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions tailored to client needs. Jop holds an engineering degree in Design & Technology from the Utrecht School of Arts, which provided a solid foundation in visual design, marketing and web development, enabling him to apply both academic knowledge and practical insight into his business ventures.
Jop gained valuable industry experience working with a range of prestigious clients, including Ring (Amazon), KPN and PWC. The combination of a formal education and hands-on experience proves to be very useful. His leadership at Qaraqter has seen the company collaborate with several startups, cementing its reputation as a trusted partner in delivering creative and effective solutions.
Rein Strijker
CSO / Member Advisory Board
Rein has always been fascinated by the relation between nutrition and loss of muscle function in seniors. In 2013 he founded VitalNext with the hope to build a bridge between the world of life sciences on the one hand and the market for consumer products with health benefits on the other hand.
Rein believes that there is a significant need for innovation and new products that will help us living longer more healthy. Not so much by curing diseases, but by preventing or delaying them. We have no miracle-products in our pipeline, but are convinced that our combined knowledge and expertise of technology, medical developments and consumer markets will contribute to the worldwide increasing demand of 'healthy ageing'.
Sondra Miller

Sondra is a healthcare executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in transforming businesses across the medical device, consumer healthcare, and hospital product sectors. She has successfully led both start-ups and Fortune 100/500 companies, driving significant revenue and profit growth.
In her leadership roles, including Vice President of Marketing at TriSalus and Vice President of Global Marketing & Strategy at Philips, Sondra has been pivotal in strategic growth initiatives, such as securing CMS reimbursement for TriNav and turning around a €1B global business at Philips. She has also revitalized Abbott’s Ensure brand, achieving a 44% growth rate.
Sondra holds an MBA from Ohio University and a BS in Nursing from Kent State University, with advanced education from Harvard and MIT. She is passionate about integrating technologies like AI to enhance healthcare solutions and improve patient outcomes.
Rudy Mareel

Rudy is a seasoned executive in the healthcare industry, boasting significant experience in strategic planning, operational management, and change leadership in senior roles. He possesses a profound understanding of the global healthcare market. Rudy's expertise extends to various areas, including medical nutrition, medical and pharmaceutical distribution, in vivo and in vitro diagnostics, medical technology, as well as generic and biosimilar drug development and marketing.
Additionally, he brings with him a vast network of scientific, technical, and business leaders, as well as key opinion leaders from around the world. Rudy currently serves on several Non-Executive boards of healthcare-related companies. He is highly regarded for his knowledge and leadership acumen, as well as his valuable experience in governance and sustainability.
Dharminder Chahal

Dharminder is owner and managing director of various biotech companies. He acts as consultant to Van Herk Investments and companies in the Van Herk Investments portfolio. Furthermore, he is CEO and co-founder of SkylineDx a company based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and developing diagnostics tests in oncology. Dharminder has built an extensive network in the global life science industry and create a strong track record in supporting successful companies in their journeys.
